We go organic where it counts. Using the EWG's Dirty Dozen list as our cheat sheet, we source organic for the biggest pesticide offenders, think spinach, kale, apples, and grapes. For naturally low-pesticide produce like bananas and avocados, we stick with top-notch conventional. No matter what, every ingredient is always non-GMO.
Where are the smoothie ingredients sourced from?
Whenever possible, from local Midwest farms, including our partner Perkins Good Earth Farm in Indiana. We supplement with other trusted growers/suppliers to keep quality and availability consistent year-round, but every ingredient is always a whole fruit, vegetable, seed, or spice, never a powder or puree.
What's the difference between a frozen smoothie pack and a smoothie mix?
A "smoothie mix" usually means a powder or puree you scoop and add liquid to. A frozen smoothie pack is different: it's whole, real fruits, vegetables, seeds, and spices, cut and portioned, then flash-frozen. Nothing is dehydrated, powdered, or pureed down. You can see and identify every ingredient in the bag, which is the whole point.
Will my order actually arrive frozen?
